TONIGHT IS THE BIG OPENING NIGHT FOR MY MONTH LONG SHOW!The window display is all set, and everything is hung up. Now its a matter of doing itty bitty things like adding a few prices here and there last minute and its 8pm-11pm opening time ( Read more... )

It's been a bit since I posted here, but the latest is good news :D

Focus Fair went great! There was not one item I brought with me that didn't sell, I met a lot of other local artists, made good conversation and even go interviewed by the local paper. The local Peterborough blog took photos and I made it up on their website: I'm the second photo ( Read more... )

And here is the big news! Next month, myself along with my friend Jenny of xenotropos.com will be having a gallery show at the Water Street Gallery in downtown Peterborough Ontario!

June 4th is the grand opening and the show will run from June 5th to June 12th!

So the first of May has come and gone, and I have 3 paintings complete!

I have all thumbnails of the paintings done, including 12 extra that aren't being used, and all canvas is planned to the painting that would best suit it.

The smallest canvas I have is 11x14 inches and the largest is 18x24 inches.

So now my time is at a premium. The show is a go, and "Monster Show" is the theme we've come up with. I have 13 paintings thumbnailed out from last night with more to come, and they will be rendered in acrylics in a detailed illustrative style with bold outlining and subdued backgrounds with bold colours.
